De-worming and 1st immunizations will have been completed and details in writing. It is recognized that intestinal parasites are common in puppies. We will make every effort to prevent parasites. The stress of change and travel can cause intestinal parasites to emerge such as Coccidia or Giardia. Buyer agrees to continue parasite testing and treatment (we supply the 1st two doses of meds for Coccidia) with their veterinarian. The buyer agrees to keep the puppy healthy, maintain and stay current with all puppy vaccinations, provide periodic Veterinarian checks including an initial examination within the first three days after delivery. It is the Buyers responsibility to have an appointment prearranged at your Veterinarian's office for a well check prior to picking up your puppy, in order that he/she can be seen within the three day agreement listed in this contract. This is done in order to establish the puppy was sold to you in good health. Buyer agrees to keep their puppy at home and away from other dogs, public places and parks until all immunizations have been complete and had time to work. This includes other dogs being brought into the home and the new owners will use care in allowing others from outside their home to pet or interact with the puppy. New owners will not enroll the puppy in obedience training classes until all immunizations are completed, usually at 18-20 weeks of age, according to the veterinarian’s schedule. This is to protect the puppy from exposure to parvovirus and other infectious illnesses. It is understood at the time of this sale the puppy is not guaranteed for show or breeding quality. No size guarantee of this puppy. It is your responsibility to take good care of your puppy and provide it with adequate food, water, shelter, and veterinarian care. Genetic defects are covered for one year. This does not include Cherry Eye, Demidex, any other skin condition or OFA or injuries that occur after the puppy has left our premise. Before we will replace any puppy, written examination from a licensed veterinarian must state that serious genetic defect exists and be accompanied by all documentation we deem necessary, autopsy, x-rays etc... The buyer must contact the seller immediately if any problems are found by their Vet. It is understood by all parties that no refunds will be given. If your puppy is found to have a life threatening congenital defect, he/she must be returned to us unless otherwise agreed. Shipping charges will be the responsibility of the buyer. All medical reports and testing must be provided within 48 hours from the day you reported the issue and are the responsibility of the buyer. All testing needs to come from the vets office or wherever the testing was done and sent to us ( I will allow 1 week for the mail but it needs to be post marked within the 48 hour window. If this time line is not met we will assume the puppy does not have a defect and the matter will be closed. We reserve the right to examine the puppy, request pictures or video and have a second opinion from another vet. This means no matter what vet is used, ours or yours. If a replacement is found to be necessary it is understood that we will have to wait until another litter is born. Mother nature will decide on this date not us. A replacement has to be like for like. No exceptions. If you choose a more expensive puppy you will need to pay the difference.
If Buyer fails to have the new puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian upon
possession within this three day period, buyer assumes full responsibility and
the contract is void (this does not change the agreement not to breed).
We firmly believe in spaying and neutering your pets... Thank you.
